Creators sometimes need contracts when they perform or exhibit in a space outside their home. A contract is often needed that lets the creator define suitable conditions. The more access that the creator has to contracts, the less likely it is that the creator is going to be exploited beyond what the creator expected.
Some of the things as a creator i have found included on contracts.
-Payment
-Date/time
-Conditions: drinks, food, space to put things
-Don't show up fee.
-Venue cancels the show fee.
-Minuets performed.
-Entry fee/ door deal
-Parking/load in-time
-Sound/light -person
-PA
-rights organization ya/nay
-insurance/liability
It would be great if an artist could come to a template online and create the contarct needed.
